A new business has moved in on the shores of Lake Erie that is anything but new to the marine industry. Lakeside Yacht (operating at the old Lakeside Marine location) is built on a strong foundation of over 50 years marine experience consisting of individuals passionate about boating. Included in this group of people are Brandon and Devon Ellis, the owners of Details Marine, Ltd.

The Crew of Details Marine has joined forces with Lakeside Yacht Service & Storage, LLC. to expand their service expertise with the great convenience and accessibility the waterfront location offers. Many in the Lakeside-Marblehead area have looked toward the landmark marina at 9454 Park Row as guidance during both daytime and nighttime travel. The large storage buildings and two hoists stand out on the water’s edge to mark where one is along the shoreline during the day while the uniquely pulsating light helps direct those traveling at night.

Now Lakeside Yacht wants to extend such reliable guidance to all boaters in The Great Lakes by way of service and storage both during and after the summer’s boating season. The services Lakeside Yacht offers includes: Engine, driveline and sterndrive repair; Fiberglass repair from minor “bumps and bruises” to major structural damage; Custom paint requests to gelcoat repair; Headliners, wall liners, interior/exterior carpeting and upholstery. Lakeside Yacht offers both heated and cold inside storage, provides all your winterization needs and also offers mobile dockside services when needed.

Ed, an insured professional Marine Service Tech since 1983, provides excellent service on gas and diesel engines, generators, electrical and air conditioning. Lake & Bay Yacht Sales has been owned and operated by Ted since 1992. Lake & Bay is a dealer for Egg Harbor Yachts, Davis Yachts, Buddy Davis Center Consoles, Topaz and Predator. Those that are familiar with the marina location will be happy to know that what had been neglected and left behind has started going under a major face-lift. From new paint inside and out to new docks, to maximize space and safety, there are both minor and major changes under way at the marina. The improvements already started this year, to the 6 storage buildings located on North Shore Blvd, will continue through out 2012. That is Lakeside Yacht’s gated storage facility which is located within 1/2 mile of the marina. This makes for minimal roadway travel providing additional “ease-of-mind” to those that would worry about any damage from long roadway hauls from water-to-storage for their boats.

Lakeside Yacht offers competitive service rates and THE BEST storage rates around! For the 2011-2012 year they started their inclusive heated storage rates at $5.25/sq.ft. and inside cold storage at $2/sq.ft. So you can see just how serious they are in offering the lowest storage rates in the area.
